Located on the first floor of the Port Campus, the Office of Admissions supports those interested in enroling in any of NSCAD's programs. Whether you wish to take one class as a non-degree student, complete an undergraduate or graduate degree or a post baccalaureate certificate, we're here to help you find the best program to meet your needs and ease the transition to student life.

Ruby Boutilier
Coordinator, Recruitment

Ruby graduated from NSCAD in 1999 and has gone on to become involved in both the film industry and independent film communities of Halifax. She is on the Board of Directors at AFCOOP, has been an instructor at NSCC, is a filmmaker and most recently a film activist. For the past 4 years she has been at NSCAD, traveling across Canada and Internationally, attending Portfolio events, Canadian education outreach events and visiting high schools, sharing both the possibilities of a NSCAD education and the opportunities that are possible with Fine Arts in general.

Ken Rice 

Ken Rice
Coordinator, Admissions

Ken graduated from NSCAD in 2005 and has continued his artistic practice in both photography and painting.  Prior to working with Admissions, Ken worked with both the Division of Art History and Contemporary Culture and NSCAD Senate.
Ken has worked as a Community Liaison with the Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market and in the Tourism and Hospitality industry.
