NSCAD University's Film Department presents two end-of-term screenings at Empire Theatre's Park Lane Cinema on Spring Garden Road.
Join the students of Film 1 & 2 on Wednesday, April 20
for the public screening of six short films (and maybe a few extra) created in the past eight months. The event runs from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Featured films include Smoulder
by Karolina Szablewska, Her Daughter's Eyes
directed by Kirsten Stanley, The Right Answer
by Jessica Murwin, Vent
directed by Ryan Taylor, F Block 6
by Riley LaMarche and a film awaiting a title by Matt Frazier.
The screening is by donation ($5 suggested) and all proceeds will go towards NSCAD's film lens fund.
On Wednesday, April 27
at 6 p.m., don't miss this year's thesis films, featuring:
- The Fruit Machine by Dennis Envoldsen
- Nostalgic by Krista Kirby
- The Weight by Rene Laramee
- Snappy's by Caitlin Parsons, and
- Gerreh by Fazilla Atiquollo.
