26th annual Night Shift opens June 6

NSCAD proudly presents Night Shift, the 26th annual exhibition of artwork by students and instructors in the School of Extended Studies.

Night Shift, which runs from June 6 – 24 at the Port Loggia Gallery, will include drawings, painting, printmaking, sculpture, jewellery, fashion, ceramics, photography and video. Admission is free.

And new this year: the Night Shift Workshops! Taught by Extended Studies instructors, these workshops are intended for people of all skill levels. The lunch time, drop-in sessions are free; no prior experience is required and all materials are provided. Workshops run every Wednesday of the Night Shift Exhibition at the Port Loggia Gallery.

“Night Shift is a great opportunity for beginner, emerging and professional artists to showcase their unique talents and promote the wide range of courses offered through Extended Studies,” says Charley Young, instructor and Education Coordinator at the School of Extended Studies.

The public is also warmly invited to attend the opening reception, scheduled for Monday, June 6, 5:30 p.m. in the Port Loggia Gallery.
