A message to students from the President
April 22, 2015

Dear Students,

Over the weekend, NSCAD became aware that a faculty member has been charged with voyeurism by Halifax Regional Police. The alleged incident in 2014 involved a former student and did not take place at the university.

This faculty member is now on leave from the university and due process is being followed.

We understand there will be questions and concerns in the wake of this news. If you would like to bring forward a concern of any kind or if you have an academic-related question, please contact the Dean, Dr. Ann-Barbara Graff at abgraff@nscad.ca or phone 902-494-8125.

If you would like to access counseling services, please contact Christina Warren, in the Office of Student and Academic Services, at cwarren@nscad.ca or phone 902-494-8130.
Halifax Regional Police have requested that if you have information they should be aware of to contact them in person at the station, 1975 Gottingen Street, Halifax, or by calling 902-490-5180.

The safety and well being of all members of the NSCAD community, past and present, are of the utmost importance.

Yours truly,
Professor Dianne Taylor-Gearing
President, NSCAD University
