Two months ago, NSCAD became aware that a faculty member had been charged with voyeurism for an alleged July 2014 incident involving a 31-year-old woman at an off-campus location. NSCAD has since learned of additional charges.
The safety, security and wellbeing of all members of the NSCAD community are of the utmost importance. Immediately upon learning of the initial charge, the faculty member was placed on leave and remains on leave as due legal process is being followed. In addition, NSCAD executed a sweep of the campus to confirm no suspicious on-campus activity was taking place in relation to the allegation of the off-campus incident.
