Ursula Johnson, BFA’06, is one of 27 emerging and established First Nations, Métis and Inuit artists from across Canada profiled in "Expressions: Canada’s Aboriginal Artists." A publication of the Canada Council for the Arts, "Expressions" not only honours the work of these artists, but gives readers a sense of the impressive breadth and range of this country's Aboriginal art in dance, media arts, music, theatre, visual arts and writing.

Berkeley Brown ’09 named student finalist in NICHE Awards
NSCAD jewellery student Berkeley Brown, who graduated in December ’09, has been named a finalist for the 2010 NICHE Awards. The annual awards, established in 1990, celebrate excellence and innovation in American and Canadian fine craft at both the professional and student levels.
