The first course in NSCAD's new Certificate in Arts Administration
, "Financial Management for the Arts" is designed to help artists and arts administrators gain confidence managing finances in their own practice, in artist-run centres or arts organizations. This course will cover funding schemas for artist-run centres, Government-funded centres and grantwriting for special projects. Using basic business planning, the course will outline how to anticipate costs and find formulas for future projects.
