Globe and Mail features design students' poppy project
November 15, 2010

The November 9 Globe and Mail featured a project by design students that re-imagines the iconic Remembrance Day poppy.

In his page 3 article, "Rethinking the poppy in a respectful way," Oliver Moore talked about the work, part of week-long "Design Studio 5: Collaborative Projects" exhibit at the Anna Leonowens Gallery.

The story generated more than 300 comments in the paper's online version, overwhelmingly supportive of the students' initiative, and was picked up by media outlets across the country, including CTV National, Global National and Radio Canada International.
