October 26, 2009

A logo designed by NSCAD alumnus, Patrick Connolly, will brand the upcoming Halifax International Security Forum.

The Forum, scheduled for November 20-22, 2009, in Halifax, is a first-of-its-kind international security conference in North America, attracting 300 leaders from government, industry, and academia, including members of the Canadian government, the US administration,  and senior representatives from the European Union, NATO, and around the world.

Patrick, who graduated with his MDes degree in 2009, is currently working as a designer in London, England.

The Forum is organized by the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) with the support of the Government of Canada, through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and the Department of National Defence.
