A new hearing date for the NSCAD faculty member charged with voyeurism was set today in Halifax Provincial Court. The case has been adjourned until June 30.
Currently on leave from the university, the faculty member is charged in relation to an alleged July 2014 incident involving a 31-year-old woman at an off-campus location.
As affirmed by NSCAD President Dianne Taylor-Gearing, the safety and wellbeing of all members of the NSCAD community are of the utmost importance. As soon as NSCAD Administration became aware of the charge, the professor was placed on leave from duties to allow due process and an internal investigation to take place.
