Students in the craft programs pursue individual forms of expression while being challenged to think critically and seek innovative solutions. Students learn a wide variety of skills, including traditional methods, new technology and industrial processes.
Students studying in one of the craft programs may find themselves taking advantage of NSCAD’s Exchange program or a work experience through the Internship Program. Undergraduate students are also encouraged to apply for a solo exhibition at Anna Leonowens Gallery. Other opportunities include the use of Facility Resources such as rapid prototyping at the plastics, wood and metal shop.
