  • Visual Identity project for the Peer Leadership Program at Cole Harbour District High School.
  • Information and fundraising brochure for Adsum House
  • Logo for the Nova Scotia Department of the Environment Pollution Prevention Program
  • Mural - “Smart City - Smart Move” for the Greater Halifax Partnership
  • Visual identity for Halifax-based Terezin Studio Project staging the opera “The Emperor of Atlantis”
  • A five minute interactive learning unit for children, addressing the theme “Halifax Explosion,” was developed by a team of four students for the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic Graphic Communication class developed a range of graphic imagery for application at the Halifax Adult Services Centre

1996-1997

  • Communication strategy for the TUNS Mechanical Engineering Program. Collaborative project with Mechanical Engineering students at TUNS
  • Established the Consortium of Universities for Family Reunification in collaboration with California Polytechnic Institute at Pomona. Researched and presented a prototype interactive database to aid in family reunification in Rwanda and surrounding areas

1995-1996

  • International poster competition – “Traffic Safety” – for the Alberta Motor Association. Grand prize winner and two additional prizes went to NSCAD students
  • “Javaphone” design research and interaction design, for Nortel Inc., Ottawa

1994-1995

  • “Annapolis Count Treasure Hunt”, a proposal for the Annapolis Royal Community Organization
  • “Biodiversity”, a full-colour poster (18”x24”) for Caretakers of the Environment, Nova Scotia
  • A full-colour cover for “A Student’s guide to Financial Survival,” Don Mills
  • “The African Presence”, an internet project for the Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia
  • “Sea and Air Acoustics”, a large scale wall chart for the Institute of Acoustics of Atlantic Canada
  • “The McLuhan Probes”, a monthly electronic journal, produced by students in the Communication Design degree program, in conjunction with the Herbert Marshall McLuhan Foundation and distributed on the web

1993-1994

  • Students in Communication Design Studio II and senior students from the School of Business at Acadia University cooperated in a research study funded by the Nova Scotia Department of Health and produced a variety of visual products
  • A full colour poster (18”x22”) for the 50th Anniversary of the Canadian Mathematical Society
  • A Visual Identity for Wild Card Productions, Chester
  • A Visual Identity for the Annual Conference of the National Association of University Board Chairs and Secretaries in Halifax
  • A logo design for Nova Scotia Regional Health Board
