Painting
Peer to Pier Painting
This course is for painters who would like to work with like minded artists at NSCAD University.  This is a peer mentorship opportunity where students have access to a NSCAD classroom and equipment.  Over a 7 week period the group will come together to focus on their individual art work, to collaborate and guide each other through their art production. As a means of building students' self confidence as well as discuss contemporary issues of painting the group dynamic will be facilitated by a staff member at the outset of each session. The last meeting will involve a group critique with a NSCAD instructor.  As sensitivities to oil paints can be an issue for some participants the focus will be on acrylic or watercolour painting only. Prerequisite: Advanced Painting or equivalent
