We have a history of inspiring youth through our Saturday Children's Art Classes since 1887 and are one of the earliest known examples of this in North America. Children in grades 1 – 6 participate in a variety of fun age-appropriate activities that introduce basic visual arts skills.

Saturday Children's Art Class - Ages 9-11Discover the world of art making through exploration and experimentation! Using pencils, pastels, india ink, paper mache, acrylic and watercolor paints students will create individual and group projects. Basic techniques in drawing, painting, and sculpture will be emphasized while encouraging imagination, self-confidence and individual style. All materials are provided for the fun and fabulous projects. Students should dress appropriately, as making art can mean making a mess! Class limit is 14.
