NSCAD University’s Teen Arts Studio Bursary Program was created in 1983 through the endowed gift of Alexander J. MacDonald. The Bursary Program is designed to engage highly motivated young artists in grades 9-12, from low-income environments, who are keen to explore the visual arts but unlikely to enroll due to registration and transportation costs.
Who is eligible?Students in grade 9-12 experiencing financial challenges or living in low-income environments may apply directly through their school guidance office for the Teen Arts Bursary. Only students experiencing financial need are eligible for this bursary.
How do I apply? If you are a student interested in applying for the Teen Arts Bursary, visit the guidance office in your school to find out the specifics of their application process. Completed applications can be returned to the School of Extended Studies.
