I began my creative career in Bermuda as a fine artist where I studied art and design at Bermuda College. I later entered the Graphic Design Major, at the NSCAD University and finished in the Communication Design Honours program where I studied communication design and theory.
I am currently the graphic designer for MedIT, a department within the Dalhousie University Faculty of Medicine. As graphic designer at MedIT my role is to support members of the Faculty of Medicine by designing, advising and or outsourcing jobs in print and digital media, including but not limited to publications, animation, illustration and poster design. I also own design studio, Glitterati Communications where I work with a diverse range of clients in the corporate sector and beyond.
I have spent so much time developing myself as a designer over the years that I have neglected my fine art side. My next goal is to put more energy into independent projects and art. I’ll be documenting my progress with this so check my website and blog for updates if you’re interested.
