After attending NSCAD for an additional year (1974 to 1975), to focus on printmaking, I returned to Toronto where I pursued a career as an artist, printmaker and teacher. As an active member of Open Studio Printmaking Co-operative, I participated in numerous group shows, plus three solo exhibits of my prints. Currently I am painting in acrylic and exploring non-objective imagery. My initial image idea is often inspired by a place I have visited. Through a gradual process of re-working and layering, I have begun to paint intuitively. In this way, the image evolves, becoming less representational and more concerned with form, value, colour, line and texture.
