Masthead - line only
Kenn Mayfield BFA ‘91
Early in childhood I was diagnosed with autism, and this has played out in various guises throughout my life. As such, communication, hidden details, the viewpoints of others, and a search for context of identity has led me across Canada and into Europe. Invariably my photography centers upon private macro moments with animals and insects, and studies of solitary peoples from a distance. Oddly my sensation of experience in all cases is very intimate, but the worldly evidence takes on various photographic ratios to real-life life proportions.
