From openness, with the heart, through the hands, is the simplest way to define my practice. Determined by a search for the sacred and a discovery of the infinite existing within the world of the finite, a daily art practice developed as one of learning how to reversely use the world of the finite to recognize the existence of the infinite.
The medium of my work is defined by using only recycled clothing and the common tools of scissors, needle and thread. The challenge of working as a textile artist without an interest in making and selling "things" has enabled my work to evolve into performance installation. In this way the attention is directed towards a ritual aspect found in the process of making and away from an expected outcome or final object.
