NSCAD’s endowment fund invites supporters who wish to have the principal of their donation preserved and invested.
The late Bernadette Macdonald QC, former Vice Chair of the Board of Governors and Chair of the Board’s Advancement Committee, was passionately committed to the creation of the NSCAD Endowment Fund. In her memory, the fund was established on January 25, 2001, with the unanimous support of the Board of Governors, bringing a longtime dream of many, to life.
Gifts to the NSCAD Endowment Fund are especially important. There is a critical need to grow this essential fund for future security. A healthy endowment reduces the university’s dependence on government funding and stabilizes scholarship support. Gifts to the endowment fund make a significant and lasting contribution to the quality of visual arts education in Canada.
