Carla Roth is director of THINK Jacobson & Roth, an exhibit, interpretive and media development firm based in Los Angeles. Included in THINK’s portfolio are history, science, and art exhibits, housed in both new museums and renovated historic structures.
Before forming the THINK partnership, Carla was producer of an American Association of Museums award-winning multimedia game and theater experience about looking at African art (for Los Angeles County Museum of Art). She was also managing producer of the team that created 30 media-based exhibits at the new California History Museum (for Hartman/Harmonica).
Prior to relocating to California with her husband, Merritt Price, Head of Design at the J. Paul Getty Museum, Carla held several positions at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Canada’s preeminent art museum. She also served as co-founder and chairman of the Information Technology Council, a distinguished group of Canadian museums, science centres and cultural attractions collaboratively exploring new media.
Roth was born in Alberta, Canada, where she spends time at the family ranch each spring.
