Lise received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1985. She completed a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Université de Montréal in 1988 and a Masters in Architecture from Sangath in Ahmedabad, India in 1991.
In 1983, the Centre Régional de Loisirs Culturels in Kapuskasing, Ontario commissioned Lise to design and build an art installation, "Le Mur Qui Parle ". In 1995, she founded, hosted and participated in organizing a Symposium on Art and Architecture with the Gallery Articule in Montreal. Art and architectural field trips have taken her to various locations worldwide: Europe, Canada, the USA, the Caribbean, India, Hong Kong and Japan.
Lise participated to the realization of architectural projects in Canada, France, India and the United States. In 1999 and in 2002, she taught a course on cultural analysis and environmental design at the Université du Québec à Montréal. In 2005 and 2006, she taught introductory courses on architecture, "Architecture Across Cultures" and "Architecture Culture Power" at Concordia University. During the past years, Lise has been involved with the development of new architectural prototypes that serve as contributions to quality of life via living with nature.
