Marnie is a socially-engaged artist and cultural researcher in both Canada and Australia. Her creative projects explore issues of representation and stigma in community contexts. She recently completed a PhD in creative arts and cultural policy at the Centre for Cultural Partnerships, University of Melbourne, Australia and now works as a research fellow exploring issues of aesthetics/engagement/evaluation in community-based arts. She is currently developing a project using guerrilla art projections to draw attention to housing issues.
