Holiday Pop-Up 2016

Get ready for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience as unique as NSCAD!

NSCAD’s Office of University Relations will host the third annual Holiday Pop-Up, taking place Friday, Nov. 25, 4-9 pm, and Saturday, Nov. 26, 10 am to 4 pm, at various storefronts on the Fountain Campus.

The Holiday Pop-Up is a showcase of NSCAD’s craft, artistic and design talent, just in time for the holidays. This pop-up is a wonderful opportunity for students to get exposure to customers in a retail environment.

All participants must pre-register. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-term basis. We encourage groups of students with similar items to apply together and share space.

NSCAD Holiday Pop-Up Participant Terms and Conditions

•  Students are responsible for the setup, operation, and take down of Holiday Pop-Up.

  • Setup time begins at 10:00 am on Friday, Nov 25, 2016.
  • Sale hours are from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Friday, Nov 25 and from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Saturday, Nov 26.
  • Take down begins immediately at 4:00 pm on Nov 26 and all materials must be removed.
  • Artwork from all media will be accepted and works must be exhibition/sale ready.
  • All works must be in excellent condition, free from damage or hazards.
  • Students receive 100% of all cash sales and are responsible for their own cash box and float.
  • Students are encouraged to get a Square Reader ® or similar for processing credit card sales.
  • Students are encouraged to spread the word about their participation in the Holiday Pop-Up through social media postings.
  • Application deadline: November 10 at 4PM (or while space permits)
