Holiday Pop-Up

NSCAD will host the second annual Holiday Pop-Up, taking place Friday, Nov. 27, 4-9 pm, and Saturday, Nov. 28, 9 am to 5 pm, at various storefronts on the Fountain Campus.

The Holiday Pop-Up is a showcase of NSCAD’s craft, artistic and design talent, just in time for the holidays. This pop-up is a wonderful opportunity for students to get exposure to customers in a retail environment. One-hundred per cent of proceeds will go directly to participants. The Holiday Pop-Up is organized by NSCAD’s Office of University Relations.

The deadline to apply is November 4th at 4 pm or while space permits.

NSCAD Holiday Pop-Up Participant Terms and Conditions

  • 30 six-foot spaces are available and applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Applicants may receive a maximum of one six-foot space (table and/or adjacent wall space).
  • Students may co-apply for one space.
  • Students are responsible for the setup, operation, and takedown of Holiday Pop-Up.
  • Setup time begins at 10:00 am on Friday, Nov 27, 2015.
  • Sale hours are from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Friday, Nov 27 and from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Saturday, Nov 28.
  • Take down begins immediately at 5:00 pm on Nov 28 and all materials must be removed.
  • Artwork from all media will be accepted and works must be exhibition/sale ready.
  • All works must be in excellent condition, free from damage or hazards.
  • Students receive 100% of all cash sales and are responsible for their own cash box and float.
  • Students are encourage to get a Square Reader ® for processing credit card sales.
  • Application deadline: November 4 at 4PM (or while space permits)
