ARTSTOR
ARTStor is a digital library of nearly one million images in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences with a set of tools to view, present, and manage images for research and pedagogical purposes.
ASKART
The AskArt site contains images of works by artists from around the globe, as well as biographical information, exhibition listings and helpful lists of books and articles.
BERG FASHION LIBRARY
The Berg Fashion Library is updated at least three times a year and is fully cross searchable with other Berg content, including the Berg Encyclopedia of World Dress and Fashion online, ebooks, other reference works, images, Berg online full-text journals, and much more.
GROVE / OXFORD ART ONLINE
Grove Art Online is a regularly updated, scholarly art encyclopedia from Oxford University Press which includes thousands of articles, biographies, citations, and images. It also includes reference works such as The Oxford Companion to Western Art, The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms, and The Encyclopedia of Aesthetics. THE ART MUSEUM IMAGE GALLERY

Art Full Text is a comprehensive resource for art information featuring full-text articles from more than 300 periodicals dating back to 1995, high-quality indexing and abstracting of over 600 periodicals dating as far back as 1984, including 280 peer-reviewed journals, as well as indexing and abstracting of over 13,000 art dissertations. ASSOCIATION OF LEARNED AND PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY PUBLISHERS LEARNED JOURNALS COLLECTION (ALJC)
The ALJC package is a journal collection published by members of the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) through Swets Information Services. Founded in 1972, the ALPSP is the international trade association for not-for-profit publishers and represents more than 300 members in 31 countries worldwide. The collection is comprised of 696 journal titles by 52 publishers.
CAIRN
CAIRN was formed in 1995 by four European publishing houses (Belin, De Boeck, La Découverte and Erès) and offers access to the most comprehensive collection of French language periodicals in the social sciences and humanities disciplines.The collection is currently comprised of 143 titles from more than 40 publishers, teaching institutions and learned societies and is growing rapidly.
CLASSICAL SCORES LIBRARY
Classical Scores Library contains 400,000 pages of the most important classical music scores, manuscripts, and previously unpublished material, allowing for the study and analysis of more than 8,000 musical scores. This collection allows users to access multiple types of scores across various composers, genres, and time periods.
DESIGN AND APPLIED ARTS INDEX
More than 110,000 annotated references from 450 design and craft journals published between 1973–2001, and data on over 50,000 designers, craftspeople, studios, workshops, firms etc.
DESIGN INFORM
Contains Design ProFILES (nearly 20,000 entries on designers and design-related organizations), ReVIEW, and Design Abstracts Retrospectives (over 50,000 entries) providing coverage of more than 100 design and design-related journals, most of which have ceased publication.
DIRECTORY OF OPEN ACCESS JOURNALS (DOAJ)
A directory of free, full text, open access journals, this service currently provides access to over 4000 journals, many of which are searchable at the article level. For more open access journal choices visit Open J-Gate.
ERIC
ERIC - the Education Resources Information Center - is an online digital library of education research and information. ERIC indexes scholarly journals, newsletters, and ERIC documents (most available full-text) from 1966 - present.
ÉRUDIT
The Érudit platform provides access to several types of documents in the humanities and social sciences and natural science disciplines: academic journals, e-books, proceedings, theses and other documents and data. Most of the content has been funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and/or by the Fonds Québécois de recherche sur la société et la culture. The journals are mainly published in French, however there are a few bilingual and English titles.
FADIS

INGENTA CONNECT (Berg Journal Access)
IngentaConnect indexes articles published in thousands of scholarly, interdisciplinary journals. If the Library subscribes to a particular title, the full-text will be activated via Ingenta. For the NSCAD community, the Berg journals Art in Translation, Design and Culture: Journal of the Design Studies Forum, The Design Journal, Fashion Practice, Fashion Theory, Home Cultures, Interiors, The Journal of Modern Craft, Material Religion, Photography and Culture, The Senses and Society,and Textile: The Journal of Cloth and Culture are now available full text online via this database.
Ingenta also provides a table of contents service to notify when new issues are published. Please note that if you are a member of the NSCAD community use the library InterLibrary Loan Service to order articles that you can not get full-text access to rather than directly through Ingenta - this is not a subsidized service.
INTELEX PAST MASTERS
InteLex Past Masters offers 117 full-text humanities databases that are focused on the needs of the scholarly community in the human sciences. InteLex assembles and publishes cohesive collections of excellent editions, in both original language and in English translation, using meticulous text conversion processes.
JSTOR
Access to eight multidisciplinary and discipline-specific collections that include complete runs of journals as well as select monographs, transactions, and conference proceedings.
OPEN J-GATE

PERIODICALS ARCHIVE ONLINE
Periodicals Archive Online indexes millions of articles published in the arts, humanities and social sciences, across more than 300 years from 1665 to 1995. It provides access to the Full text of a growing number of digitized periodicals that have been indexed in its sister database, Periodicals Index Online.
PROQUEST RESEARCH LIBRARY
This general database gives access to thousands of current periodicals and newspapers, many updated daily and containing full-text articles from 1986 onward.
THEATRE IN VIDEO **NEW**
Theatre In Video contains more than 250 definitive performances of the world's leading plays, together with more than 100 film documentaries, online in streaming video - more than 500 hours in all, representing hundreds of leading playwrights, actors and directors.

For many years, Project Gutenberg has been offering published books now out of copyright free for reading online or downloading to a mobile device. Over 33,000 books are now available through Project Gutenbereg and its partners and affiliates.
REFWORKS
Refworks is an online, web-based software program which assists in managing citation information for research work. Citations can be generated from Refworks in various bibliographic formats or in-text throughout documents.
