I am fascinated by the essential human need for creative expression and the infinite ways that it appears in the world. I approach art through a life long interest in stories, leading first to a BA in English Literature at Trent University in Peterborough Ontario and then propelled by a love for visual story telling, entering into a Interdisciplinary degree at NSCAD studying drawing, animation, film, and sculpture. Sharing stories through different creative outlets is a
way for us to understand and connect to one another and our environment. I have always looked at the world with a sense of mystery and wonder. Sharing this amazement with the human imagination, learning and teaching, are all essential to my engagement with art. I have shown work in Ontario, Montreal and Halifax, and recently worked at the Ross Creek Center for the Arts as a camp counselor and instructor.
