Jocelyn Li

A recent NSCAD graduate, Jocelyn Li, resides in downtown Halifax where she tinkers away at projects in her humble home. Receiving a BFA with a Major in Jewellery and Metalsmithing, she approaches her designs through subtle, intuitive responses and applies traditional jewellery techniques in her artwork. She relentlessly aims to expose another facet of philosophy and sociopolitical theory by encapsulating it symbolically and tangibly. Founded in elliptical shapes, her ongoing body of work explores her conception of nihilism through the form of crafted objects.
