Lisa has been instructing art classes to all levels for the past twelve years; previously at The Visual Arts Centre in Montreal, and after moving to Halifax in 2012, at NSCAD’s School of Extended Studies. She has also taught at various private and public schools and selected community organizations. Lisa received a B.F.A in Studio Arts in 2005 from Concordia University, Montreal, and has developed, parallel to her personal practice, highly effective teaching techniques and instructional methods, which have allowed her to educate all styles of learners, and foster a fun and engaging learning environment that effectively teaches art appreciation, promotes creativity, and encourages growing independence. Lisa also works as a design consultant at Duly Noted Stationery in Halifax, as well as honing her skills in window painting, custom signage, and calligraphy.
