Monika works in the Learning Commons as an Instructional Designer focusing on online course delivery, and multimedia support for online teaching and learning, she also teaches part-time in the NSCAD Design department.

Monika completed her MFA in New Media in Austria and a Bachelor of Design at NSCAD University. She recently completed online studies at Thompson Rivers University, BC related to Online Teaching and Learning. Monika continues to work on her design and art practice. Her artistic work is influenced by the Polish feminist conceptual avant-garde movement and deals with topics surrounding social construction of self and cultural identity.
