Artist for a Day 2023
Artist for a Day is back! Coinciding with Open City 2023, Artist for a Day is a full, fun day of hands-on art making for people of all ages. It’s free, and suitable for artists at every level.

NSCAD Career Week 2023
This week (March 21-24th) is NSCAD Career Week! Each day there is at least one talk or workshop in-person in the Learning Commons and available online as Zoom webinars.

Visiting Artist Talk: Anthea Black
Anthea Black will be giving a special lecture on the True Pleasure of the Book, tied to their curatorial project “Embodied Press” at the Mary E. Black Gallery. The talk will be followed by a Q+A and a short dialogue between Professors Black and Hollenbach on contemporary issues in craft theory and care.

Academic Advising 2023
Advisors from the Registrar’s Office will be available at locations across campus during Academic Advising Week to help students with questions regarding 2023-24 course selection.

BEST Conference for International Students
The BEST Conference is an annual event which provides pre-employment services, supports, and training for international students in Nova Scotia, giving them the tools, resources, and contacts needed to build successful careers and position themselves in the Atlantic labour market.
