Craig Love is a visual artist whose primary concerns are painting and text. His paintings aim at being associative springboards or poignant diversions for the everyday problems of being. Of particular interest is the propensity for how painted and written languages find their resting state nestled uncomfortably amongst approximation and abstraction. Craig is has been a visiting artist in residence as this year’s William and Isabel Pope Artist’s Residency in Painting. His show, DULL ROARS, will be on exhibit at the Anna Leonowens Gallery from October 21 – November 1.
