What To Expect
Students can expect a supportive and safety-focused environment in the woodshop. They will have access to tools that will help them cultivate practical and creative woodworking skills.
The woodshop requires all students to complete a comprehensive seven-week safety and fundamentals class before independent use. Students can expect to build confidence, develop technical skills, and be part of a positive, engaging learning community.
Who Can Use This Facility
The woodshop facilities are available to students who have completed and passed the required seven-week safety and fundamentals class. This applies to all students from any department.
Once they pass the course, they are permitted to use the woodshop independently. Individuals who have not completed the class are not allowed access to the woodshop equipment.
Students can book appointments with the woodshop technician via Brightspace.
