Spanning the specialized production spaces of the historic Academy Campus and the collaborative labs of the Fountain Campus, NSCAD’s Multimedia facilities provide professional environments for every phase of your digital workflow.
- The Electronics and Experimental Media Lab (Academy Campus): A dedicated maker lab equipped for physical computing, soldering, hardware hacking, sensor integration, and micro-controller prototyping.
- The 3,000-Square-Foot Soundstage (Academy Campus): A massive, high-ceiling production studio ideal for filming, green-screen capture, set construction, and large-scale, multi-projector installation mockups.
- Professional Sound Mixing & Recording Booths (Academy Campus): Soundproof acoustic environments optimized for vocal tracking, Foley, high-fidelity sound design, and multi-channel audio synthesis.
- Animation and 16mm/Digital Editing Suites (Academy Campus): Individual post-production bays featuring specialized software and professional monitor setups for frame-by-frame and non-linear editing.
- Fountain Campus Digital Lab & Help Desk (Fountain Campus, 3rd Floor): An open-access design hub providing high-speed computing, VR equipment testing, and wide-format plotting services.
