PORTFOLIO DAY: february 15, 2025
Our instructors are here to help you prepare for a successful future at NSCAD. If you need feedback on pulling your portfolio submission together or you’re just starting your journey and want to learn more — this day is for you. Join us.

What is a portfolio?
A portfolio is a collection of artwork that you have made that exemplifies your interests, commitment, and skills in art and design. Whether you paint, draw, sew, sculpt, animate, film, weave, print, or just plain make and create — it all belongs in your portfolio as a reflection of your artistic self. The portfolio that you submit when applying to NSCAD University demonstrates to the admissions committee your readiness to be a student here — we want to get to know you through your skills and your artwork!
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will meet students, staff, and faculty.
We plan a series of activities that:
- Provide you with tips and feedback to strengthen your application.
