A Tribute to FLUXUS
(With a little bit of MYSELF thrown in for good measure)

Ann Noël is an international artist resident in Berlin, Germany since 1980. She was born in England and grew up on the Channel Island of Jersey. After graduating from the Bath Academy of Art and Design in 1968, Ann Noël spent the next 11 years in the USA and Canada, where she worked at the Something Else Press in New York 1968-1970, was a visiting lecturer at the California Institute of the Arts 1970-1972, the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design 1972-1974 and the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts at Harvard University 1977-1980. Her works – artist’s books, print editions, paintings and installation – have been exhibited worldwide and she has taken part in many FLUXUS performance festivals since 1985. Her solo performances are documented at the museum FLUXUS+ in Potsdam. Ann Noël is represented by the Galerie Marlene Frei in Zurich, Switzerland.
