NSCAD University has announced it signed a long-term agreement with the Halifax Port Authority to create an accessible, unified campus that will be the cornerstone of the vibrant creative and social district at the Halifax Seaport.
NSCAD University (NSCAD) and the Faculty Union of NSCAD (FUNSCAD) Unit I are pleased to announce they have reached a tentative agreement in collective bargaining with their Regular Full-Time, Pro-Rated and Part-Time faculty.

Nearly 40% of post-secondary students in Canada report experiencing food insecurity. Inflation is increasing the scale and urgency of this problem.
This is why NSCAD is once again collaborating with the J & W Murphy Foundation and other Nova Scotia post-secondary institutions to improve food security for students this #GivingTuesday.
NSCAD’s alumni ring designed by Karen Konzuk ( BFA 1997) will be updated in 2024 with a brand-new design. What will NSCAD’s alumni be wearing? The competition is open to current NSCAD Jewellery & Metalsmithing students and recent graduates (2018-2022) of the program.
