I.D.E.A. Fund
Help Open Doors for Future NSCAD Students
At NSCAD University, we believe that students with talent, creativity, and determination should have the opportunity to pursue their education, regardless of the challenges they may face.
The I.D.E.A. Fund was created to help reduce financial barriers for students who have historically been underrepresented in post-secondary education. The fund supports Mi’kmaw students, African Nova Scotian students, and youth emerging from foster care as they begin their studies at NSCAD.
In September 2026, two students will begin their studies at NSCAD with support from the I.D.E.A. Fund. Thanks to the generosity of donors, these students will have access to financial assistance that helps make their education possible.
We are now raising funds to continue supporting these students throughout their academic journey and to extend this opportunity to others in the years ahead. Every gift helps build a stronger foundation for student success and expands the reach of a program designed to open doors for those who may otherwise face barriers to higher education.
By supporting the I.D.E.A. Fund, you are investing in students, strengthening our community, and helping create a future where more learners can pursue their ambitions and achieve their potential.
Make a gift today and help us sustain and grow this important fund.
