At NSCAD we honor the contributions of Black and African artists around the globe. 

In the spirit of this year’s theme, “Black Joy,” we have a lineup of exciting events designed to uplift, connect, and celebrate our community.

‘Blame it on the Boogie’ Karaoke Night: 

Monday, Feb. 10, 7-10pm at the FAB

In this special After-Anna event, we’re excited to honour and celebrate Black excellence in music at the FAB. We invite everyone to bring a selection music ONLY by Black artists while we recognize and celebrate African Heritage Month. 

 

Sugar and Spice Trivia Night: 

Friday, Feb. 28, 7-9pm at the FAB

Learn about the impact of Black folks on gender equity and sexual health education. This event is co-hosted by Venus Envy.

 

Free tour of the Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia:
