NSCAD LANDS AND PARKS PROGRAM

We need your help to continue one of NSCAD’s most unique and impactful residency programs

The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Lands and Parks program – which marries NSCAD’s world-renowned creative education programs with our longstanding commitment to environmental sustainability and reconciliation—has lost its funding.

Established as a partnership between NSCAD and Parks Canada, this MFA program, along with an undergraduate sister program, offers students unique experiential learning opportunities and encourages them to direct their collective and individual creative outputs towards topics of environmental sustainability, national identity, and treaty education.

The outcome of this program engages with and raises awareness of and appreciation for culturally and ecologically significant Parks Canada locations.

In order to keep this valuable program going, we need your help. One of NSCAD’s most reliable partners has stepped up and offered to match all donations up to $5,000. If we can raise $5,000 from friends like you, the $10,000 total will be enough to keep the Lands and Programs program alive in 2022.

Your gift will help ensure NSCAD maintains its commitment to achieving environmental sustainability and continues to offer our students a world-class creative education.

Thank you for your donation.
