Meet our 2023 valedictorian, Piper O’Neil Doak
Piper O’Neil Doak, who will graduate this week with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and a Minor in Print, Paper, and Book Arts, has been chosen by the 2023 graduating class as their valedictorian.
ADVISORY: All of Halifax Peninsula, including NSCAD’s three campuses, are currently under a boil water advisory until further notice. All water must be boiled for at least one minute if it will be used for drinking or any other activity requiring human consumption.

Liz Cowie (BFA 2000) spent her teens taking photographs in Halifax, inevitably landing at NSCAD. Her love of film led her to New York City and a successful career leading programming at VICE.
