As the leader of an inclusive academic community where members are known and celebrated for their creativity and differences, the president of NSCAD is responsible for ensuring the university is promoting creative progress and pursuing sustainable leadership in art, craft and design.
In December 2020, NSCAD issued a request for proposals for executive search consulting services to support the recruitment process for the university’s next president. NSCAD is pleased to announce that the university recently selected Perrett Laver as the successful proponent .
The firm is a leading international executive search firm with extensive experience in the higher education sector, and specializes in identifying outstanding leaders for organisations that have extraordinary impact in society.
Perrett Laver will work closely with NSCAD’s Presidential Search Committee to help develop interview strategies, key selection criteria, interview questions and decision-making process en route to recommending a long list of candidates.
Consultation with the NSCAD community is essential to the process of selecting the university’s next president. The committee will engage extensively with faculty, students, staff and external stakeholders during the process. Perret Laver will develop and implement a communication strategy to support this activity.
