ADVISORY: All of Halifax Peninsula, including NSCAD’s three campuses, are currently under a boil water advisory until further notice. All water must be boiled for at least one minute if it will be used for drinking or any other activity requiring human consumption.

Food insecurity is a sad reality for many NSCAD students that detracts from their creative practices and interferes with their studies. Nearly 40% of post-secondary students in Canada report experiencing food insecurity. Inflation is increasing the scale and urgency of this problem.

This is why NSCAD is once again collaborating with the J & W Murphy Foundation and other Nova Scotia post-secondary institutions to improve food security for students this #GivingTuesday.
