NSCAD welcomes and embraces the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia as a celebration of diversity and inclusion throughout our community and around the world.
ADVISORY: All of Halifax Peninsula, including NSCAD’s three campuses, are currently under a boil water advisory until further notice. All water must be boiled for at least one minute if it will be used for drinking or any other activity requiring human consumption.

NSCAD University today announced the launch of the TD Financial Literacy Program for Creative Entrepreneurs. The program, funded through a donation of $150,000 from TD Bank Group, will be operated from the newly established Creative Entrepreneurship Lab (CEL) at NSCAD University.
NSCAD University full-heartedly condemns the rise in anti-Asian hate, and all forms of racism and violence. We stand in solidarity and partnership with the Asian community, and with everyone dedicated to fighting racism and discrimination wherever and whenever it happens.
Registration for the 2021 summer semester is now open and we are ready to welcome students to continue their academic journeys at NSCAD from anywhere in the world.
NSCAD University is saddened to announce the passing of retired Professor Emeritus H. Dennis Young. Dennis joined the NSCAD Community in 1972, when he was invited to create the Art History Department. He was Chair of the department for 18 years, and retired in 1990. His impact and significance to NSCAD is far-reaching, and is forever part of the university’s history. We extend our condolences to his friends and family.
